Reporting to the GM, this position has responsibility for running the FOH, housekeeping and maintenance departments on a day by day basis. He/she will have overall day to to responsibility for the hotel in the absence of the GM. With just 11 bedrooms plus 2 self catering cottages this is a hands on role and everyone works as a team. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and will need to be a good motivator and problem solver. Accuracy is also important and, being a luxury hotel (and member of Relais Chateaux), attention to detail is essential. An interest and experience in fine dining is important as food is a central part of what we offer (we have 3 Rosettes for our restaurant).
