Housekeeping General Assistant Full Time

Rockliffe Hall is an AA-rated 5 red star resort in the north of England and is set within 375 acres outside the village of Hurworth, near Darlington in County Durham. We are a proud member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and winner of the Pride of Britain Hotel of the Year 2017. Rockliffe Hall offers 61 luxury guest bedrooms, bespoke restaurants including our 3AA Rosette Orangery restaurant, an award-winning spa and championship 18-hole golf course. We are currently seeking to recruit a Housekeeping General Assistant to join our great team of professional and dedicated individuals.

The main responsibilities of the Housekeeping General Assistant role will be (but not limited to):

• Two days per week helping in the housekeeping department as a linen porter – Maintenance of individual stores levels with correct volumes of linen to meet the needs of the business arrivals/linen changes that day.
• Two days per week cleaning public areas within the hotel – Work to the highest levels of cleanliness as set by the Executive Housekeeper to a 5 star standard.
• One day per week deep cleaning duties – Including carpets, curtains and upholstery maintenance.
• Assist team members when required with the cleaning of bedrooms, guest corridors, public areas and housekeeping storage areas.

The ideal candidate will hold a full clean driving licence as there will be a requirement to drive company vehicles for this role. Experience working in a 5* Hotel would be an advantage but is not essential.
