Mixologist Full Time

Rockliffe Hall is an AA-rated 5 red star resort in the north of England and is set within 375 acres outside the village of Hurworth, near Darlington in County Durham. We are a proud member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and winner of the Pride of Britain Hotel of the Year 2017. Rockliffe Hall offers 61 luxury guest bedrooms, bespoke restaurants including our 3AA Rosette Orangery restaurant, an award-winning spa and championship 18-hole golf course. We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Mixologist to join our great team of professional and dedicated individuals.

The main responsibilities of the role will be (but not limited to):

• Assist in the premotion of cocktails around the resort
• Conduct cocktail training with the Food and Beverage Team Members
• Maintain product knowledge of bar stock, wine selection, beverage recipes and mixing procedures
• Assist the Orangery Manager with the design and implementation of new cocktail recipes and menus
• Understand the “ingredients” of cocktails and other drinks/ beverages to enable you to confidently deal with customer queries
• Meet and exceed guest expectations and are encouraged to provide a “can do” attitude to service
• Adhere to all procedures for cash handling and credit cards
• Keep up to date and comply with liquor and license legislation
• Provide a detailed cost analysis of cocktail recipes

The ideal candidate will experience working as a Mixologist in a high standard hotel environment and will have a passion for driving the team forward.
