We’re looking for a Reservations Manager to join our Gilpin family!
Please Note: We are based in Windermere – Lake District
You’ll be an organised, professional leader, with an excellent eye for detail. Responsible for training and supporting the reservations team, as well as creating rota’s and spot checking reservations for conflicts.
Having a positive outlook, a good eye for detail and a great head for yielding is a must for this role. You will be organised and efficient with a sense of fun and professionalism in equal measure.
You will have outstanding interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. You will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment whilst retaining a sense of calm under pressure. With a natural ability to build rapport and an excellent telephone manner, you will be confident taking reservations, liaising with departments and dealing with guest queries.
Previous experience working in a busy sales or customer service role and a desire to progress your career in the industry would be a massive plus. Flexibility to work daytime, evenings and weekends is also a requirement.
Key responsibilities include:
Communicating new rate plans and promotions to the central team and sites
Monitoring the in-house reservations systems
Maintaining the Reservations system, loading promotions as directed.
Analysing call patterns
Creating and checking SOP’s
Assisting the team with queries
Liaising with the reception team daily
