We are currently looking to increase our highly talented team of chefs – Bring your ambition and seize this great opportunity to join us a Chef working and learning with Niall Keating (Great British Menu Winner 2020) and his team in our 2 Michelin starred kitchen – Live in accommodation available.
Whatley Manor is a luxury 5* hotel that operates like a house and feels like a home. Less than 30 minutes from Chippenham, Stroud, Nailsworth, Tetbury and Cirencester, we are commutable from many locations in Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Yate, Bristol or Bath. We are quite different. Our beautifully restored 18th century manor house hotel and spa offers a grown up getaway in the heart of the Cotswolds. Set in 12 acres of beautifully kept gardens, we have 23 individually decorated rooms and suites and a range of dining options including our Michelin two-starred restaurant ‘The Dining Room’ and Grey’s Brasserie, Whatley’s answer to casual dining. We also have conference facilities, Aquarias Spa & Gym and our very own cinema!

Our Kitchen Story
In our extensive kitchens we are working hard to produce not only the next generation of some of the country’s most versatile individuals but also ultimate hospitality ambassadors. With an emphasis on one team, our chefs have the opportunity to collaborate across all of our dining options, working very closely with our suppliers, offering an eclectic mix of chef menus, brasserie menus and 5 star afternoon teas.
Niall Keating achieved his first star after only 8 months at Whatley Manor, bringing with him an array of influences from around the world having worked in one, two and three star Michelin restaurants across the United States, Denmark, UK, Korea and Japan. he achieved a second star in 2019 and won Great Briitsh Menu 2020.
Under Niall’s guiding hand, you will have the opportunity to surround yourself with like minded, forward thinking and passionate chefs who have the opportunity to express themselves twice a month through our Sunday Project Night. Here we give you the stage to demonstrate and share with the team your ideas and creations, looking at tastes, textures and temperatures – personal development at its best!
