Front of house shift leader

Job description

Tulchan Sporting Estates in Advie near Grantown on Spey are looking to recruit a full time Front of House member to work as assistant to the Operations Manager – Tulchan Club & Spa.

THE ROLE:

The successful candidate will be comfortable working alongside the hospitality operations team in Tulchan Club & Spa and play an active role in the operation our new restaurant Feast@Tulchan.

If you are a hands-on person, very energetic and self-sufficient, fully flexible to help out other departments if necessary, then we are looking for you!

Ideally you will have:

Excellent interpersonal skills, responsive to guests’ needs and able to treat others with respect and courtesy regardless of work pressures, being able to deliver a high standard of personal presentation.
Ability to act with discretion at all times.
Ability to work effectively and supportively with colleagues, both individually and in a team.
Good communication skills and confidence to approach customers.
Experience in front of house activities including table service, mixing drinks.
Experience of working in a similar environment: domestic residence, luxury hotel or top restaurant.
Capacity to work well at pace and under pressure.
It will be a plus to have:

National Vocation Qualification 2 (NVQ) in food and beverage service.
Other Front House / Catering or equivalent qualification.
Good knowledge of wines would be an advantage.
Driving licence
